Although the white that dominates the artwork on Small Sins, the debut album by The Ladies and Gentlemen, might appear stark, the music is anything but. Having earned comparisons to such modern day luminaries as Grandaddy and The Postal Service, The Ladies and Gentlemen have received reams of critical acclaim from press and radio alike.
The solo-project of Thomas D’Arcy – former member of The Carnations – Small Sins is a one-man show on record, but on the road it’s a full-fledged band having already performed to sold-out rooms across Canada before the debut even hit the shelves. And now that Small Sins has been released – by Vancouver’s Boompa Records on September 13th – The Ladies and Gentlemen are hitting the road alongside Matthew Good.
